Former Master’s Groundskeeper to Speak at Luncheon
The Martin Methodist College Athletic Department is inviting the Giles County community to attend February’s RedHawk Athletic Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Hickory House Restaurant.
The monthly event, which began nearly two years ago, is held the first Wednesday of every month at Noon. The cost of the buffet will be $5 (excluding drink) and the RedHawks will pick up the balance of your buffet tab.
December’s guest speaker will be Pulaski native and landscaping professional Mac Edmondson.
Edmondson, a 2015 Auburn University College of Agriculture graduate, will speak to the community on his two-plus years of experience at the famed Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.
At a place where nothing but perfection is accepted, Edmondson served as Horticulture Graduate and participated in all aspects of management of the grounds. Additionally, he led various teams in preparation for The Master’s as well as teams during the tournament itself.
Edmondson recently joined as Project Manager at Falkner Gardens, a high-end residential landscaping company in Birmingham, Alabama.
In addition to the special guest each month, Wednesday’s meeting will also feature a brief recap and preview of RedHawk Athletic and Martin Methodist College events. A prize giveaway will also be conducted near the end of each meeting.
Come join the RedHawks in the RedHawk Room at the Hickory House Restaurant for a social, fast-paced “power luncheon” with limited seating. The luncheon will conclude by 12:50 p.m.
