William Bell Hickerson Sr.
He was born in Giles County, TN on March 15, 1926. Retired from the Union Bank in Lynnville, he was a farmer and a lifelong entrepreneur. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Lynnville Church of Christ and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Hickerson and Anna Belle Burgess Hickerson; his wife, Dorothy Lee Williams Hickerson; his second wife, Opal Beaver Hickerson; his two brothers, John Thomas Hickerson Jr. and James Robert Hickerson; and his sister, Edith Mae Hickerson Locke.
He is survived by his two sons, Donny Hickerson (Debbie) of Lynnville, TN and Bill Hickerson of Jackson, TN; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hickerson (Jessica), Chad Hickerson, Jennifer Stout (Corey); and his great grandchildren, Jaelyn and Jax Hickerson, Hailey Hickerson, and Cason, Colton, and Clayton Stout.
Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. The funeral service, also at Carr and Erwin, will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m with burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.
