Patricia Ann Howell Hazelwood

Mrs. Patricia Ann Howell Hazelwood, 69, of Pulaski died July 14, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Hazelwood was born June 16, 1950, in Pulaski and was a 1968 graduate of Bodenham High School. She married the love of her life, Larry Wayne Hazelwood, May 10, 1968. They had been high school sweethearts and spent many more days together than they ever spent apart, working side by side for many years. She was born a nurturer who loved having and caring for any animal. She was happy when she was nursing the sick and giving them a reason to smile or to have a better day. She was loving, tender-hearted, a good listener, hard worker and could tell a joke like no one else. Any day she could be outside, enjoying the simple life of seeing pretty flowers, listening to the birds chirp, going on a job with Larry, walking in the woods or even weedeating, was a good day for her. She is preceded in death by parents, Dewey Thomas Howell and Alma Ruth Hobbs Howell; grandparents, Edd Lee Hobbs, Eura Jane McClure Hobbs, Charles Edward Howell, Elizabeth Jane Williams Howell; parents-in-law, Belle Hazelwood and J. B. Hazelwood.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with her cousin Dale Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Scott’s Hill Cemetery, in Giles County.
