Mamie Ruth Inman Patterson
Mrs. Mamie Ruth Inman Patterson, 94, died Feb. 3, 2020.
Mrs. Patterson was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Leggtown, Ala. She was a talented seamstress and cook, and had hands that could make a “weed” grow. She worked at the Martin Methodist Cafeteria, the former Lee Mar Shirt Factory in Pulaski and Murray Ohio bicycle plant in Lawrenceburg. Always busy doing, she did some private duty sitting and enjoyed selling Mary Kay products with her good friend Ann Cobb. She took pride in doing for her children and grandchildren; she did not hesitate to show Christian love to those with whom she came in contact. She was a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by parents, John and Vona Inman; brother George Henry Inman; sons, John, Paul; daughters, Ruby, Claire; and husbands, George Gentry and Mose Patterson.
Rose of Sharon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include daughter Virginia Reedus of Pulaski; sons, George Gentry and wife Maggie, James Gentry and wife Mary Jane, Joseph Gentry and wife Sandra, Ronnie Gentry, all of Pulaski, Dennis Wayne Gentry and wife Judy of Nashville; grandchildren, Diane Rodgers, Jacque Lundy and husband Darren, Wydell Gentry and wife Cynthia, Elizabeth Gentry, Tyvon Gentry, Tony Gentry and wife Tracye, Travis Gentry, Tanya Gentry, Courtney Matthews and husband Kevin, Whitney Gentry; 25 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; nieces, Annie Ruth Gilbert, Kathleen Goodrich; nephew Larry Inman; and many other relatives and friends, including Sheila Gentry and Bessie Gentry.
