Lona Mae Glover Brewer

Mrs. Lona Mae Glover Brewer, 99, died Aug. 5, 2019, at Meadowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation in Pulaski.

 

Mrs. Brewer was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Giles County and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ and retired from Maremont Gabriel after 25 years. She is preceded in death by parents, David Matthew and Eva Candace Locke Glover; husband J. W. Brewer; brother Winford Glover; sisters, Hortense Neeley, Imogene Gilliam, Mattie Ruth Tucker, Christine Hillhouse, Charlotte McDougal; daughter Gwendolyn Daniel; sons, Charles David Brewer, Donald Lee Brewer; great-grandson Lance Daniel; and nieces and cousins.

 

Funeral services were Aug. 9 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial was in New Shores Cemetery.

Survivors include sons, James Kendall Brewer, Larry Brewer, both of Pulaski, Jackie Brewer and wife Suzette of Lynnville; daughters, Betty Birdsong and husband William, Annette Fralix and husband Danny, Sheila Towry and husband Danny, all of Pulaski, Sue Terry and husband Collis of Huntsville, Ala.; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
