Larry Young

Mr. Larry Young, 72, of Pulaski died June 2, 2018, in Nashville.

 

Mr. Young was born in Nashville February 25, 1946. He worked as a teacher for 39 ½ years at Prospect and Giles County High School, where he taught English and speech. He was an avid tennis and golf player, loved collecting classic cars, and attended Cool Springs Church of Christ. He was a charter member of the P.A.C.E. Car Club. He is preceded in death by parents, Ben Franklin and Mary Louvene Young.

 

Visitation is today (Tuesday) from 4-7 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services are tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

 

Memorial Donations are suggested to the Giles County Public Library, 122 South Second Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.

 

Survivors include wife Betty Wheeler Young of Pulaski; brothers, Harold (Ruth) Young of Lawrenceburg, and Glenn Young of Texas, sister, Patricia Young (Paul) Minatra of Pulaski, nieces, Angela (Tracy) Wilsford of Lewisburg, and Jordan (Josh) Kirkpatrick of Pulaski, nephews, Joey (Emily) Young of Lewisburg, Boyd Young of Lewisburg, Nathan (Toni) Wheeler of Nashville, and Logan (Molly) Wheeler of Paraguay and several great nieces and nephews.
