Joyce Faye Harmon
Mrs. Joyce Faye Harmon, 79, of Pulaski, died Jan. 4, 2019, at her residence.
Mrs. Harmon was born March 18, 1939, in Greys, Ky. She loved doing many arts and crafts including: crocheting and making quilts, afghans, dolls and jewelry. She especially enjoyed shopping for her supplies at Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Stores. She was an excellent cook who liked going on cruises, being outdoors and going camping. She loved clothes and shoes and often enjoyed dressing up. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by parents, Clifford Helton and Elizabeth (Betty) Hale Helton; grandchildren, Richard Alan Harmon Jr., Richard Wayne Harmon III; great-granddaughter Cieara Sunshine Harmon; brother Glenn Ray Helton; and sister Helen Carter.
Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia.
Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Heritage Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating.
Survivors include husband of 50 years Richard Harmon Sr.; children, Richard Alan Harmon of Pulaski, Richard Wayne Harmon Jr. and wife Robin of Texas, Charles David Mathis, Edward Self and wife Natalie, Kenneth Mathis, Peggy Patterson and husband Charles, all of Florida, Brenda Garner of Indiana; sister Barbara Norwood of Florida; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
