John Sterling Frost
Mr. Frost was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Davidson County. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran. He had a long career as a carpenter in Middle Tennessee with many years spent with TVA. He also farmed and thoroughly enjoyed working with livestock. After retirement most of his time and efforts were spent with the Giles County Senior Citizen Center. He is preceded in death by parents, Bessie C. and Miles G. Frost; wife of 51 years Frances E. Frost; two brothers; and a sister.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Doug Plumlee officiating. Private graveside services with full military honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Giles County Senior Citizen Center, 100 Senior Citizens Drive, Pulaski, TN 38478.
Survivors include sons, Sterling Frost and wife Libby of Greenbrier, Frank Frost and wife Linda of Cumberland City, Mike Frost and wife Carole of Bentonville, Ark.; daughters, Wenona Young and husband Richard of Pulaski, Sheila Anderson and husband Dean of Centerton, Ark.; brothers, George Frost, Jim Frost, Kenneth Frost, Woodard Frost; grandchildren, Carrie Frost, Christopher Frost, Derek Salter, Kim Underwood, Ben Goodrich, Meredith Hoffmeyer, David Frost, Mackenzie Anderson, Tucker Anderson; and eight great-grandchildren.
