James Windell Pylant

Mr. James Windell (Wink) Pylant, 90, of Pulaski died Sept. 26, 2018.

 

Mr. Pylant was born April 3, 1928, in Ardmore. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Redstone Arsenal. He was also a former Tennessee National Guard Command Sergeant Major. He is preceded in death by wife Katherine Hollingsworth Pylant; and parents, William Ernest and Maudie Lee McNeese Pylant.

 

Masonic Funeral Rites were Sept. 28 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral services were Sept. 29 at First Baptist Church. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church CB Fund or First Baptist Church Building On Faith Fund, 408 S. First St., Pulaski, TN 38478.

 

Survivors include son Kent Pylant and wife Dawn of Dacula, Ga.; daughters, Vickie Thompson and husband Joey of Elkmont, Ala., Karen Davis and husband Larry of Canton, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
