James Phelps

Mr. James (Jamie) Phelps of Pulaski, 51, died Oct. 1, 2018, at his residence.

 

Mr. Phelps was born Nov. 6, 1966, in Pulaski and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. His family was his world. He was employed at SNA Recycling, and loved to hunt and fish. He was a devoted Christian to the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by grandparents, James Weakley and Henrietta Dickey Phelps, Andy Abe and Irma Alice Booker Smith.

 

Funeral services were Oct. 3 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Long officiating. Burial was in the Phelps Cemetery, Wales Community. Memorial donations may be made to the family.

 

Survivors include wife of 30 years Kaye Phelps of Pulaski; sons, Daniel Phelps of Nashville, James (Jaye) Phelps Jr. of Pulaski; daughter Kara Phelps of Pulaski; grandson, Liam Phelps of Pulaski; parents, Mark and Jean Smith Phelps of Pulaski; sisters, Melissa Holman and husband Larry, Rhonda Miller and husband Eddie, all of Pulaski; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
