Hubert Max White

Mr. Hubert Max White, 79, of Pulaski died Nov. 6, 2019, at NHC, Pulaski.  

 

Mr. White was born April 20, 1940, in Minor Hill. He held an advanced degree in mathematics. He was a veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard, achieving the rank of Colonel. He was retired from Pulaski Electric System. During his retirement, he was a boy scout leader and was able to take the same group of 14 boys from Tiger Cub to Eagle Scout. Twice he and son Bert attended Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He was also a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church. Some things he enjoyed doing during his life where woodworking, snow skiing in the Rockies and flying a personal plane. He adored his family and was a devoted father and husband. He is preceded in death by parents, Onis and McKeller Boyd White; brother James Joseph White; and sister-in-law Glenda White.

 

Memorial services were Nov. 8 at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial with full military honors will be held in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville at a later date.

Survivors include wife of 37 years Kimberly Jones White of Pulaski; son Bert White and wife Madison of Nashville; daughter Gina Leigh Pascoal and husband Ray of Missisauga, Ontario, Canada; sisters, Mary Adams, Sarah Oakley and husband Don, Jane Conover; sister-in-law Kandye J. Gates; and numerous nieces and nephews.
