Gladys Ann Loduha

Mrs. Gladys Ann (Pat) Loduha, 94, of Pulaski died June 1, 2019, at Maury Regional Medical Centery.


Mrs. Loduha was born Feb. 4, 1925, in Milwaukee, Wisc. She and husband Frank Loduha built and ran the Crystal Rock Ballroom and Roller Rink located in Rhinelander, Wisc., where many of the “greats” performed including Johnny Cash, Glen Miller, Buddy Holly and Minnie Pearl. She later became a caterer and then a florist before retiring and moving to Tennessee in 2003. She was a member of the Smokey Bears Ladies Auxiliary and a board member of the Crescent Lake Association in Rhinelander. She was a talented visual artist and upon moving to Pulaski, became part of the STAAR Theatre family. She is preceded in death by parents, Ethel Catherine LesSard Draeger and William Frederick Draeger; husband Frank Jacob Loduha; daughter Karrie Sue Bongard; son Russell Lee Loduha; daughter-in-law Judy Loduha; sister Dorothy Mehrens; brother-in-law Byron Mehrens; and brother Robert Draeger.


Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Ricky Keith officiating.

Survivors include daughter Karen Wood and husband Wayne of Elkmont, Ala.; son Rodney Loduha and wife Diane of Rhinelander, Wisc.; son-in-law Neal Bongard of Minnesota; grandchildren, Mike Loduha of Hazelhurst, Wisc., Brad Loduha and wife Nicki, Michelle Doan and husband Long, all of Minnesota, Ryan Loduha and Jaime McDonald of Clearwater, Fla., Missy Loduha of Sparta, Wisc., Cheri Volkin and husband Ron of Madison, Ala., Tammy Pierchoski and husband Stan of Pulaski; nephew Butch Loduha of Rhinelander, Wisc.; Carol Czeczka of Neenah, Wisc.; sons-in-law Al Morey and wife Julie of Utah, Jerry Stone and wife Carolyn of Athens, Ala.; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
