Mrs. Frances Neal, 89, of Pulaski died Sept. 2, 2019, at Ivy Crest Assisted Living in Pulaski.
Mrs. Neal was born April 22, 1930, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all. She was a member of First Baptist Church Pulaski, and retired from many years at Union Bank, Third National Bank and SunTrust Bank in Pulaski. She had a passion for grass cutting, loved to listen to Lawrence Welk TV shows and talk on the phone to her friends. She is preceded in death by husband John David Neal; parents, James Oscar and Ora May Glover Scoggin; brothers, Edward Scoggin, Jimmy Scoggin. J.O. Scoggin Jr.; and sisters, Jane Sundeen and Dimple Barber.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 4-8 p.m. at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 5, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with pastor Tony Gomillion officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Survivors include daughter Ann Hughes and husband Todd of Alabama; son Johnny Neal and wife Susan of Pulaski; grandchildren, Seth Hughes, Claire Hughes, Allie Hughes, Dyan Neal, Drew Neal, Shannon Shirey; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
