STRHS Pulaski Ranks No. 8 on Best Places to Work in Health Care
STRHS Pulaski has been ranked as No. 8 among health care suppliers by Modern Healthcare’s 2018 Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
Modern Healthcare will publish a special supplement featuring ranked lists of all the winners along with the Oct. 1 issue.
“We are of course pleasantly stunned to rank so high again a second year in a row,” hospital CEO Jim Edmondson said. “Our overall score fell two points from 94-92, so we naturally thought our ranking would fall. Maintaining that ranking is a testament to the ever-growing challenges and complexities of our health care system. The survey this year provides a snapshot of the industry. Having highly satisfied employees is obviously a key to meeting these challenges.”
Modern Healthcare and its Best Places to Work in Healthcare award winners have accomplished much over the years, empowering health care organizations, and the people who work for them, to realize their full potential. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey.
“Our award winners can be proud of the role they played in elevating the standard for workplace excellence. They have the judgment, drive and resilience to solve health care’s most significant challenges through our most important resource: people. They are pushing the envelope and creating a more engaged and productive workforce, all while tackling the ever-present challenges of cost, safety, quality and access,” said Aurora Aguilar, editor of Modern Healthcare.
STRHS was honored at the 2018 Best Places to Work Awards Dinner Sept. 27 at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel. This is the second year STRHS has made the list and had ranked eighth nationally.
