Prepare to Be Entertained

In less than two weeks, the Fourth Annual Summer SOULstice Festival will rock the historic downtown Pulaski Square — and you are invited.

Kick off starts at 5 p.m. as a spectator or participant in the Milk Drop contest, followed by a long list of fun options including dance performances from Pulaski Performing Arts, a history walk from Wolf Gap Outreach, Temple of Praise Choir performance and even a Relay For Life petting zoo, to name just a few.

Want more? Boogie with your sweetheart to the groovy rhythm of the 14-piece Utopia Band from 6-8 p.m.

At 8 p.m., the awe-inspiring stylings of the Rock-n-Roll Pianos, dueling all the way from Nashville, will take the stage.

Be on your game as Cardin Distributing hosts a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament. Participants will compete for bragging rights and the chance to compete in the Finals at Nissan Stadium — complete with hotel stay and concert tickets!

But wait, there’s more! Festival Planner and Historic Downtown Pulaski Director Olivia Officer said SOULstice offerings are months in the making.

“We started planning hard way back in January with a goal of entertaining everybody,” Officer explained. “We’ve lined up an array of options to appeal to everyone — at all ages. It creates a fun environment where there really is variety… and a surprise or two.

“This is for our community to enjoy! Come kick back and relax or kick up your heels. We can’t wait to see you there.”

My reasons for reaching out is that I would like to be more involved in this each year or this year unless it’s to late. That would be threw sponsored event or bringing artist into Pulaski. I would also be willing to set down with any artist to help them better there goals as well as teach them.
