The Martin Players at Martin Methodist College (MMC) will present Tom Stoppard’s “The Real Inspector Hound” next week.

Serving as director of the play is MMC English Professor Dr. Kayla Wiggins.

“I have seen two productions of “The Real Inspector Hound,” Wiggins said. “But this is the first time I have directed the play. It has been a delightful experience. I have great respect for the work of Tom Stoppard, and this play is Stoppard at his best. It is witty, clever and laugh-out-loud funny.”

The cast features an ensemble of new and returning actors:

• Robert Austell as Birdboot

• Skylar Lovvo as Moon

• Sydney Gregory as Lady Cynthia Muldoon

• Evan Hill as Simon

• Gracie Haynes as Felicity Cunningham

• David Lynch as Magnus Muldoon

• McKinley Heard as Inspector Hound

• Trevor Ivey-Bodman as Higgs/Radio Announcer

• Fayth Dennis as Mrs. Drudge

The crew helping Wiggins bring this production to life are stage manager Larissa Perdomo and Jessica Sudduth with the set.

Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, the performances will be held Tuesday-Thursday, April 16-18, at 7 p.m. nightly in the Martin Hall Auditorium on campus. Admission is free to all students and Martin personnel. Adult tickets are $5. The community is encouraged to attend.
