County Opens Third Convenience Center

Solid Waste/Recycling Coordinator Julie Phillips cuts the ribbon, officially opening the latest Giles County Convenience Center, which accepts trash and recyclables, Aug. 1. Like other centers operated by the Giles County Solid Waste Department, the center, on Highway 31 North at Apple Hill Road, will be open specified hours and will have an attendant on duty.   PAUL MANKE / PULASKI CITIZEN

  • Where are the others located? We took some plastic to the place across from Exchange Park. There were no receptacles to dispose of any plastic, glass, or metal.

    • The other convenience centers are at Bodenham School and the Agri Park. A recycling center is on Industrial Loop Road in fro t of the rescue squad.
