Harold Dean Glossup Sr.

Mr. Harold Dean Glossup Sr., 86, of Pulaski died June 8, 2017.

Mr. Glossup was born Oct. 30, 1930, in Pulaski. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was a United States Army veteran, former Giles County Sheriff’s Department deputy, Trinity UMC member and one of 12 children. He is preceded in death by parents, Robert Allen andLaura Lee Bailey Glossup; brothers, Robert A. (Bobby) Glossup Jr., Lowell Thomas
Glossup, Freddy Glossup, Gale Glossup, James (Jimmy) Glossup; and granddaughter Deanna Lauren Glossup.

Funeral services were June 12 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with the Revs. Debbie Eubanks and Ray McDonald officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial donations may be made to Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home, 1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478 to help with funeral expenses.

Survivors include wife of 57 years Catherine Glossup of Pulaski; daughter Debbie Watson and husband Wayne of Pulaski; son Harold (Dean) Glossup Jr. of Pulaski; grandchildren, Brandon Dean Glossup and wife Heather, Chad Lee Clausel and wife Alanna, Kristin Glossup Hampton and husband Ryan, Allison Deborah Watson; great-grandchildren, Jacob Hampton, Mason Glossup, Malayna Hampton; brothers, Samuel Clinton Glossup and wife Shirley, Carl Douglas Glossup and wife Jean, Joe Lee Glossup and wife Colleen; sisters, JoAnn VanHooser, Glenda Simmons and husband Denton, Peggy Farrar; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
