Charles David Sanderson
Mr. Charles David (CD) Sanderson, 71, of Pulaski died March 10, 2017.
Mr. Sanderson was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Monrovia, Ala, and was owner of Sanderson Trucking in Pulaski for 16 years. Along with trucking, he had a passion for baseball and spent many hours at the local Exchange Park, mentoring the young men of Pulaski, some of who continue to coach and guide today. He served on the Exchange Park Board of Directors, and as Vice President, before following his son Clay to Babe Ruth to continue his coaching and commitment to the youth of Pulaski. He enjoyed farming, working on a car or truck and was active in the Tennessee Walking Horse community. He is preceded in death by parents, Mary Blankenship Sanderson and John David Sanderson; son Shawn Keith Sanderson; and sister Francis Sanderson McLemore.
Visitation is today (Wednesday) from 3-6 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Survivors include wife of 31 years Sherry Sanderson of Pulaski; children, Christy Sanderson Pulley and husband Chad of Overland Park, Kan., Tarah Sanderson Holt and husband Jamie, Clay Sanderson, Kasie Caldwell, Shelby Sanderson, all of Pulaski; grandchildren; brother Ronald Sanderson of Pulaski; special friends, Phillip, Amy and Colton Trimble, Keith Garrison; and numerous other relatives and friends.
